Been checking out

http://www.wisebuyers.co.uk/motorcycles/bike-prices/

and being fair they're fairly in line with Glass's guide

(apologies in advance to those aggrieved at any valuations of their bikes ;) )

Good find. The website does not seem to mention what average annual mileage the valuations are based on. Any ideas??

Would it be the often quoted 4,000 per annum?

Also how much of difference would you adjust a valuation for higher or lower milegaes. Glasses quote approx adjustment £ figures per 1,000 miles for cars

Never seen 4,000 quoted as average. I thought average mileage these days was around 12,000 per year. In the 1970's and 80's it was about 10,000

Apparently according to BBC article http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-28546589 its about 7,900.

I am clearly not average as I do about 18,000 miles in the car and the Bike does around 10,000 miles per year
