Ok, the rusty fasteners suggest it's been sat around for a while, but the price is a little more sensible than some recently spotted BCRs.

Lot of work (and money) needed to bring that bike back to "Good condition"

Cheaper to buy an 'expensive' one :D

I think you got it in one there Steve - plus a little bit of TLC and elbow grease

My thoughts exactly - elbow grease is free. A few replacement or replated fasteners, and Robert is yer mother's brother :)

My point was that the trade advert described the bike as "Good Condition". In what world is that bike in 'good condition'?

No decals on rear quarter panels, Both foot pegs scraped, sub-frame rusty, numerous rusty fasteners, headers that look like they have never seen polish, etc, etc and they consider that 'good condition' :?

I dread to see what they consider an ' average condition' bike

That's been for sale since I started looking around September time.

Don't seem in the best condition, but for a BCR seems reasonable price to me.

Not that I'm expert.......

Are my eyes playing tricks on me? In the second last photo, has the head been grounding out? Is that easy to do?

48,000 miles too

Like I said been for sale for ages.

I'm still looking for the right bike to come along, this I don't think is it.....

Motorworks should look at themselves re their bike sales dept.

They've got an R1150rs advertised as an ABS model .... pics clearly show that it's had the absectomy done.

Do they know their BMs or don't they !! ?
