Helmet Recall

BMW are recalling the Sports Helmet

A short while back I was chuffed to bits to "win" one on eBay for £35

... brand new stock no one else bid, RRP is £370!!

Anyway contacted my dealers re the recall and asked if I could add another £100 to it and get a new System 6 Evo. They've checked with BMW and yep no problem, except it's a straight swap and I can keep my £100!!!! Woooo hoooo

Which is just as well as something went "sproing" with the cars alternator this morning (so either belt or the alternator) .... one step forward one step back

Time to start scouring ebay for sellers who are not aware of the recall, cheap second hand lid, then chop in for a new one.

Probably got extended warranty on it and this was BMWs cheapest option
