Helmet Recall

Post by slparry »

BMW are recalling the Sports Helmet

http://www.motorcyclenews.com/news/2015 ... rt-helmet/

A short while back I was chuffed to bits to "win" one on eBay for £35 :D ... brand new stock no one else bid, RRP is £370!!

Anyway contacted my dealers re the recall and asked if I could add another £100 to it and get a new System 6 Evo. They've checked with BMW and yep no problem, except it's a straight swap and I can keep my £100!!!! Woooo hoooo

Which is just as well as something went "sproing" with the cars alternator this morning (so either belt or the alternator) .... one step forward one step back :D

Time to start scouring ebay for sellers who are not aware of the recall, cheap second hand lid, then chop in for a new one.
