Belly Pan, wheels, shocks and clocks look right, although the final drive angle looks standard...

priced keenly too....

It's got the RWB mirrors and carbon infills and right colour anodising for the forks and a few other things pointing to BCR. Not the best advert (IMHO)

I reckon it was a Boxer Cup and I think the 'drop' was more than they make out if it destroyed most of the body work!

That's how I read it............

I reckon the private plate is hiding an older frame - and although the rear subframe lugs are easily broken....... it all adds up to serious damage....

A replacement engine!

"Fully restored"...........
.

Yes, the private plate definitely stood out to me too. I tried to see if the subframe lugs looked OK. Tricky to tell but they look broadly OK.

I reckon it's been re-framed from an older bike, which has undamaged lugs.

To further confuse the issues, putting the details into
https://www.vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/
brings

"Vehicle details
Vehicle make :BMW
Date of first registration :25 April 2002
Year of manufacture :2002"

So a RWB BoxerCup (>2004) but registered 2002 .... hmmmm. Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole

I had a look at this one when looking for a BCR , to be honest it's a lot of bike for the money, if I had wanted an R1100s with extra bits on.
the seller reckons that he bought it as an unfinished project that came in boxes.
But the suspension adjusters were seized, rev counter didn't work, odd wires just cable tied up. didn't get a good feeling about it, or him at all. If I was rebuilding a bike (any at all) I'd do research into what it was , and he was clueless.

Grammar & Spelling are also appalling so I would think his spanner skills were suspect as well as the information.
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity

Yes, but i f he did have an idea I'd be upselling the bike as good condition with loads of extras.

Not sure I know what you mean - can you elaborate?

Playing the "daftie" can be a useful ploy
