Hi guys, I am liking to pick one of these up. I prefer the 1200 but would go for the 1100 if it was a Boxer Cup. The bike must be at least 9/10 condition and well looked after, service history etc. it might be a keeper for me so it needs to be the right one. Lower mileage the better. I would prefer to buy a Members bike over a dealers.
Pipes, ABS, Ohlins etc would be nice too. The Blue/white/red Boxer Cup is my favourite colour. I have cash so I'm not time wasting.
Just so you're aware you won't get a RWB Boxer Cup with ABS, they were non-heated grips and non-ABS as they were supposed to be the closest to the actual race bikes. I don't think it makes a massive difference to me - the brakes are fantastic and give plenty of feedback, I have ABS on the 1150GS but that's a different type of bike for me.

2 different bikes. What is the bike to be used for?
Plenty of threads on what each is best for.
Get it wrong and the fun factor will quickly go.
All imho.
Thanks for the replies guys. I have spoken to the guy with the Blue one and the bike sounds nice. I do like the Boxer Cup colours but it is top money for a bike with stock exhaust and no Ohlins and 25,000 miles. It is now due a service too.
The red one is stunning and I got a quote to give it the professional treatment and get it done in Boxer Cup colours and it was £800. Tempting with under 10,000 miles.
The yellow one and Silver one are nice too. Both cheaper and I could get the colour changed later.
Don't get an R1100s painted in Boxercup Replika paintjob - it will then be a boxercup replika replica - if you must deviate from standard try an original paintjob - just my opinion - it has been discussed here before tho

At first I thought it was one of the original BMW UK replica bikes, but I think it's too late for that, so I'm not sure now. Perhaps one of the BCR geeks will come along and clarify! Low miles though and not too far from you so might be worth a visit.
Tried to post the pic but it doesn't seem to like it....

Didn't the Boxer Cup series run beyond 2002? It certainly looks like one of the UK dealer bikes.

This does indeed look like an original factory bike and the low mileage would also suggest it has been viewed by owners as a keeper. If it is genuine it will have a numbered plate on the top yoke .. forget the original production run but 25 seems to come to mind. I looked at number 12 back in 2006 when i bought my 05 RWB BCR the RWB just looked the part better IMHO
