Steve,

BMW sell a set of nuts and bolts for swapping the lids over. The pop rivets come out easily if you use a 4mm metal drill to take just the top off the rivet from the inside of the case.

They'll cost you £13.02 for the genuine BMW 8 nuts, bolts and washers

The sizes and quants are as follows:

6 No. M4x14
2 No. M4 x16

You'll also need bolts for when you want to put the fat lids back on:

6 No. M4 x 22
2 No. M4 x 24

You can get these fropm any fixings supplier, but only in standard lengths of 15, 20, 25mm etc

When drilling make sure you go slow and don't let the rivet get too hot or you'll melt the plastic.

Just a thought - if you have new city lids the fixings should have been included or are these second-hand / new to you?

Anyway, HTH

Adam :)
