Continental recall 170,000 front tyres.

Continental have just issued an announcement that all 120/70ZR and R x17 tyres built between 2007 and 2014 are to be recalled on safety grounds. By their own estimates this can be up to 170,000 affected tyres.

Oops... I wonder how many tyres have actually failed? Surely we'd have heard?

Website says none have caused an accident.

My Ducati wears one one of the SA2s in the affected range...booo.
