Getting some Boxercup Carbon Head Cover Steel Inserts made u

Post by brindlpd »

Hi, After a stupid low speed drop I need to replace the steel inserts in the carbon fibre head cover. I have located someone who can plasma cut them for me at around £31.00 each. If I can get a bigger batch made then the price will come down a bit, as the main cost is setting the plasma cutting machines up.

They can make 2 thicknesses up - one being the standard BMW thickness, the other being half of this thickness - so it will fitt better on any after market carbon covers that you get on ebay from the US.

If anyone is interested please drop me a line and I can see what can be done.

Paul
Back i n UK, time to get BCR back on road.

Good luck with this.
I made mine out of 3mm stainless and a linishing belt!
Plasma sounds like a good tho pricey way forward.
