No, cause there's no headstock as a normal bike

Hi
Yes you can.
There is a headstock which bolts in place of the telever.
I have ssen a bike with this done. It would be expensive to do as you would want to use decent forks. Is it for looks or performance?

HPN did a front frame replacement for 1100, 1150 GS/RT to mount telescopic forks. The problem is as always what forks do you fit? The race HP2 Sport as used by BMW in the endurance races have telescopic forks.

Hi
As I understand it the endurance bikes used telelever front suspension.

Hp2 megamoto?

One assumes that the mounting points on the engine are strong enough to cope with the different loading as compared to that imposed by the telelever, given that bmw themselves have "converted" Bikes designed for telelever. Maybe they took this into consideration from the very outset?

No, there was one on display at the NEC. You can always ask Richard Cooper who raced in the endurance series for BMW. He works at Pidcocks in Long Eaton.

Hi
From the photos i have , it looks like there is a front strut and the yokes look like telelever items the way they are attached. However i have not seen one naked, so may be wrong. In essence they all have telescopic forks run in conjunction with a a arm and strut.

Tannerman
The bmw boxer endurance racer ran with a telever front end with special marzocchi front forks which were spaced wider. A ohlins front strut was used.
Hope that clears up the confusion.
All the best
