LED indicators

Anyone fitted a set of these on the rear end of an 11S? In the throws of sorting some out, but am unsure whether I'll need the load resistors recommended.
A unit was supplied with the LED rear light unit I bought ages ago but wasn't required in the end - tail/brake light worked (works) fine without.
