dash time clock fix

hi ,
been working away for a while , but back , bought me an 1100s , many thanks to the forum ,
one of the very few minor niggles with the bike was the time clock not working , while i know a fair few have this problem , i thought id share my fix ,,, as suggested , fairings off ,,, wires traced etc ,,, no joy ,,, started to look deeper , wiring diagrams studied and meter out ,,,
skip to the facts .....
throttle side wiring loom box , lift the lid , its the blue plug that drives the dash , look inside the sections with the pins ,,, front pin , cant remember if its left or right was burned to nothing , it must have arced at some point and just vaporized , ,,, so a simple wire joined into the loom before and after the plug , with a small spade soldered in the middle to be able to break the loom in the future ,,,, job done.
may save some of you guys a bit of time ,, its a quick visual check , hope that helps someone.

That is very helpful. I'll link it on pelican to a similar question. If the horn and clock doesn't work then look at the fuse first.
