That's a little worrying. Expect a recall here?

I'm guessing so
fuel leaks are something they'd prefer not to mess about with I suspect

Oh dear, better keep an eye on this issue, surely there must be a recall here in Europe too.

If you had a 1993 bike with a Corbin seat - you'd not be worried about a wee fuel leak............................
Al
If I am ever on life support - Unplug me......
Then plug me back in..........
See if that works .....

Presumably because you'd be too busy working out how to fit a gear indicator...................................

That's two of my bikes that need to go in!
Guess I better get the trailer insured as I'm not riding with 6"of snow on the roads.
Cheers

What about the R1200s 2006MY?
Other bikes listed back to 2005 but the R1200s is only 2007.

It maybe that the 12S wasn't introduced into North America until 07 Jim?

That would make sense. I will keep an eye in this, don't need my pride and joy going up like an old Brit bike.
A mate of mine had a T120? chopper back I'm the late eighties. I remember him tickling the carb, kick starting it, and up it went in flames. We should have helped him, but we were too busy laughing. Fortunately not too much damage was done.

I had a duff spark plug cap on my Z1R once, and during one wet winter motorway trip it was arcing across to my leg occasionally sending jolts up me as well as making the bike run like a dog, as soon as I saw a petrol station I pulled in and bought some WD40 while the girlfriend sat guard on the bike.
Stupid me sprayed the WD40 while the engine was running, there was a huge whoosh of flame which was a bit fear inducing .... luckily no damage apart from the missing heartbeats ..... the garage attendants were less than impressed

I've asked VOSA to comment and have asked the service staff at my local dealership but haven't had a reply yet
