Not half as stunned as him, I'll bet! It sounds like he wasn't expecting it at all.

I suspect it's routine. He was accused of a crime in another country, so of course our authorities need to conduct their own investigation and question him accordingly.

My bet is he will be out on bail shortly and the investigation will be closed in a couple of months time.
