Looks like a great day out!

Particularly like the rear tyre shot. Or should I say shot rear tyre!!

Top marks for the post.

Cheers

It must have been a lot of fun. Wish I could go but I declined the invitation. We were just back from our holiday you see. Any photos of you and the bike out on track?

Thanks, I'll have to watch it on the laptop at home. The phone quality is not so great and no youtube from the work computer.

There is another track day coming up. See my post here viewtopic.php?p=153036#153036.

Nik,

Looking at the way some 1100S have been sold between members on this forum reminds me of the strapline for (I think) Raymond Weil watches..something about not owning one but looking after it for the next generation.

There a good number of 1100S that seem to be very well looked after by people and then handed onto similar folk. So pleased that the bike is giving you the pleasure it gave me. Nice to see those tyres warmed up. I almost booked the same trackday but work got in the way. The day looks great, so one for next year - although it will probably be rainy and windy :?

Can't recommend Brands GP highly enough - quick enough to be fun, without being too intimidating for the very occasional track-dayer like me. Great to see the other 11S riders out there too. Our bikes seemed to get a lot of attention from regular sports-bike riders that were intrigued to know what it's like...

Also, very satisfying overtaking Panigales and S1000RRs and the like!

I spent quite a bit of time there on staff training days when I was with Kawasaki :)

Understand that--Did my first trackday at Cadwell back in 2001or 2002 on my first 1100s, To say I was apprehensive would be an understatement but passing a 916 at Charlies and a Busa down Park just made my day :D OK plenty came past me but that didn't matter.
