Just bought myself a 2000 reg R1100S Sport, pretty low mileage (22k) in pretty good nick. I've been without a bike for nearly a year since my Kawasaki Z1000SX was nicked. I nearly bought one ten years ago and ended up with a Moto Guzzi V11 Le Mans instead (one of the worst mistakes I've ever made).

Anyway, I need some answers to questions you've probably heard a million times already and thought a friendly forum was probably the best place to get them answered.

Right now, I'm overjoyed at being back on the road and not being caught in the traffic on the M25 (my Audi just doesn't cut the mustard).

R1200S owner and big Guzzi fan.
Curious to know why the V11 Le Mans was a mistake,
Love that bike.
Also owned Griso 1100, V7 Racer and 1100 Sport Corsa (pic below)
Guzzi's are great bikes

I love the 12S, but I do miss the character of the Guzzi.
I'll probably have another one day.
