That's probably about it to be honest. There are plenty of bikes which are supposed to be 'desirable' that I have no interest in whatsoever though.

Strangely enough, our nextdoor neighbour has an Enfield 350 Bullet for sale - it's an '08 bike in black and is clean/shiny enough to make even Bob proud. Tony - who owns it - is in his 60's and rarely have I met such a perfectionist in all he does (he's a plumber by trade, and he even polishes his old VW Transporter van most weekends).

The Enfield's gorgeous little bike, sounds fantastic too.

Californias are great fun, in fact I very nearly bought one once.

No secret desires that are embarrassing. Happy to admit I have a desire for some of the 2 strokes I missed out on in my youf. I went down the sensible route due to the insurance, but wish I had owned a 250 or 350 LC. Maybe an RG250 as well.

I'm of the firm belief that any and all bikes up to 400cc should be two strokes, I absolutely love strokers and the way they deliver their power along with the smell that's so emotive of my "yoof" <goes all rosie tinted>

Four stroke 125's & 250's are just so yawn inducing next to a good stroker

A mate had a CJ250, when the rest of us had RD250B's his CJ was hideously underpowered in comparison, leading him into learning to take some horrendous overtakes in order to keep up, if you were ever behind him it was scary watching the chances he'd take, overtaking a cattle truck around a blind left hander at speed on a bank holiday monday for example.

That overtake was the one that finally stopped me riding with him as I had no desire to see the crash that was going to result from such antics.

So the moral is people, buy faster bikes, they're safer .... I think
