Moffat was the first time they came over the horizon for me.
The low seat is really inspiring for us shorties, the handling and power are ace.
It is really a lot of fun to ride. We will have the same wind blast, the same tank range, the same experience. So two the same makes sense.
But the old ladies (bikes!!) are for life so the garage is filling up ....

Lots of road test write ups please Gawaine
I'm considering the dark model as a possible succeeder to the S, They're definitely a good looking machine.

Sorry, no, no offence GR and each to thier own etc, BUT I really cannot agree with you and Bikerhoss on this one and nicko thought the 1200GS had hit every branch in the ugly tree. OK I`m going to go and hide now!!

The Dealer must have thought that Christmas had come early!
Someone else on here bought one a couple of years ago?
Sure they're gonna be fun

The looks of the Diavel are a challenge, but the riding experience certainly makes up for it.
I don't claim it looks pretty but we are enjoying the riding experience. It does have an imposing appearance.
The R1100S could be in the same non pretty but fun bracket, but bikes like that are way too large for my wife. The Diavel's performance and fun factor may put it ahead of the 1100, but then the BMW delivered two up. Bikes have so many facets and each delivers at a different level.
For performance with beauty I don't have to go far .... but my wife won't be with me.....
