Thanks........it's completely stock......tool kit has never been removed from under the rubber band.......it still has the original grease on the chain........even has the stupid sticker on the windshield telling you what to clean it with.......and......and it even has the blue protective film under the windshield screws!!

Wow its a cracker. One of the few bikes I regret selling (the model, not yours). If you want to sell it, iv,e a pocket full of Cornish gold and as I work for the navy I,m sure they could drop by on a frigate and pick it up.

Is it identical to the UK model or were there changes to accommodate Canadian legislation?

Excellent, there has to be a story to be told about how you acquired it and why the low mileage...

I believe the Canadian bikes were the same as the rest of the world other than the USA.
This bike is from the USA, so it has CAT mufflers............I don't think the Canadian versions came with the CAT's???
I'm thinking the pipes are the one thing that needs to be changed. How can an expansion chamber work with a CAT in it????????

The bike was advertised close by............I was just dumb enough to give the owner close to what he wanted for it. I just got tired of looking at lots of junk for nearly the same price.
As for the low mileage story...........this is what I was told.
The original owner wanted a motorcycle..........never had one previously..........walked into the Yamaha dealer where there were a few left over RZ's they needed to sell............the dealer convinced the original owner that this was the bike for him.
This guy purchases the bike..............rides it home............hates it and then puts a sheet over it.
Twenty three years later...........the owner tells one of his employees that he wants to sell his motorcycle.............she goes home and tells her husband that her boss wants to sell his motorcycle...........she thinks it's a Yamaha with someones signature on it..............hubby buys the bike.........has family.......house.....responsibilities..............and never gets around to riding it..............advertises it and I find it..............now it will get ridden!!
Cheers
