An early motorcycle education film. I like the staged accidents and the emphasis on motorcyclists having a reputation for being kind and considerate. Also the piece on riding in snow...

That's great! My father in law was a mechanic at Horseman's and will probably remember many of these blokes. Thanks for posting this mate, it'll make his day

Just the sort of road safety film that should be shown today

That brings back some memories, I bought a couple of bikes from Horsemans over the years, and although that film is 5 years before I was born, I recognize most of the locations used, it all (mostly) looks very different now.
Ahh nostalgia eh? its not what it used to be
Thanks for posting

Excellent ... even a glimpse of the Horseshoe Pass around the 26 minute slot

Really enjoyed that. So much has changed yet so much remains the same.
Excellent video

Amazing stuff, and much of the advice is still good despite changes in road surfaces, tyres, brakes and lighting -not to mention more cylinders and loads horsepower.
Staggering that they set up so many quite serious accidents (H&S people would not allow a small team to do that now, without rams of assessments and stunt riders) incluidng turning a sidecar over...
