To be honest i don't think a power comander on it's own will make a big difference
There are lots of hints and tips on here to try first, throttle body overhaul, rocket sprockets, Val Singleton, accelerator booster plug, some of us have even been playing with the lambda sensor either by doing without or changing to another type, also the fuel maps can be changed by bridging different connections in the CCP socket, some bikes run fine just by removing the CCP and disconecting the lambda sensor,
I feel your money would be better spent on things like shoc's, brakes, and tyres, oil in the gearbox can make a big difference to how the bike rides i'm running a 50/50 mix of hypoid 80/90 and 15/40 engine oil in the gearbox and final drive this results in smoother gear changes therefore a better bike to ride
Keep your money in your pocket first do the free things balance the throttle bodies pull the CCP and lambda sensor then spend on the cheaper things possibly the first thing to spend money on would be the accelarator module and a Val Singleton
Hope this helps Dai

Frankly, a power commander is something you only need when you've screwed up the fuelling so much with tinkering, that it's losing power.
It a good bit of kit, but they don't come with any more horsepower 'in the box' than a shiny set of spanners.
Best thing to do is find a dyno centre. For around twenty quid they'll run your bike up and tell you how its fuelling, and hence what you can expect from a Power Commander.
Alternatively, I've just put a wide band lambda sensor and air/fuel gauge on my old K-bike. This shows me how it's fuelling all the time. You could do this on any bike, the entire kit is aound £140 on oohbay.
Of course, I then had to buy an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.....and then some potentiometers to trim the signal from the airflow meter. Next I need (yep, really really need) some high-flow injectors....
Back on the slippery slope eh? If it's fuelling reasonably okay, spend the money on suspension.

'Hinterachsge' translates as 'rear axle'.(Not 'Differential', so f*** off)
