Horn when I don't want it!

Since getting to work on Friday, every time I turn the ignition off on my 12S the horn sounds for about a second. I also noticed that once, the info display on the dash didn't go blank. I don't know if its all connected but when I went to start it today the battery was flat. I have now charged the battery, but it is still happening.
Not a major problem I know, but it's not going to endear me to my neighbours when I get in from work at 0200hrs!
Any ideas?
Regards and HNY

I had a knackered cell on the car battery and all sorts of strange things started happening - none of which looked like a duff battery. It might worth trying a new battery before you start any major investigations.

I would guess a short somewhere involving the horn which also flattens the battery.....chaffed wiring somewhere?? I don't know about R12S but must bikes it appears around the headstock area??
Worth a check and a wiggle..
Does it only sound when you turn the bike off? Anytime while your riding?
