Brake lines

Post by dave the german »

Spoke to the guy at HEL at the NEC about some new lines - seems BMWs are always a pain in the ar$e cos of the different calipers, ABS etc. List price is £89 for a 3 line set up but show price is £69. He offered to do me a set for the show price if I either send him the original lines or e mail him a pic of them and I would get them the next day. Seems like a good offer. Advice or suggestions please?

I had the same problem, sent them in.......phone them to make sure they had them, was told that they had been signed for but cannot find them and will b##k the guy when they find him.
Well I got a call on the Monday morning saying that the boss put them on his deck but never told anyone !
Anyway that aside would I use them again, yes 100% they where spot on with all the fittings and even put in new nipples at no cost.

They made a custom set for the front of my 1100s. I wanted two single lines longer than stock to account for the Barbacks. I spoke to one of their fitters on the phone giving the lengths, colour etc. The lines arrived in one day with all the fittings in stainless for £40 odd. A superb service, by the way they also did the same for my R80 bobber and again the same top quality service....i could not fault the service.
