New member who registered last week. Have to confess that I have an R1200ST in all black with 15,000 miles on the clock. Its a 2007 model with later (non servo) brakes that I purchased in August. It came from Taunton, Somerset but now resides in Dundee, Scotland.

I would have added a picture but presume my lowly status as a new member stops this.

Welcome sir

No such thing as lowly status here unless you paint your bike matt black
I know all about lowly status

.. nothing to do with status.. even the most lofty can't do this!

.. Have a look at the "How to:" stickied at the top of this (Boxerpix) section.

Cheers,

I was looking at an R1200ST when we were in Austria.

Saw it from the rear, thought it looked like the kind of bike for me, then I made my way to the side, still looking promising... then...

'SWEET BABY JESUS. YOU COULD HAVE WARNED ME' when I got to the front.

What were the designers taking when they designed that?

Quite possibly best main & dip light on a motorcycle which actually works and lights up the road.
