New member with R1200ST
New member who registered last week. Have to confess that I have an R1200ST in all black with 15,000 miles on the clock. Its a 2007 model with later (non servo) brakes that I purchased in August. It came from Taunton, Somerset but now resides in Dundee, Scotland.
I would have added a picture but presume my lowly status as a new member stops this.

Hello and welcome, nice bike you have there, enjoy the site I have
I should have thought just this fact alone would be honour enough

Ooo another 1200ST see my recent post. viewtopic.php?t=16478&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity
I was looking at an R1200ST when we were in Austria.
Saw it from the rear, thought it looked like the kind of bike for me, then I made my way to the side, still looking promising... then...
'SWEET BABY JESUS. YOU COULD HAVE WARNED ME' when I got to the front.
What were the designers taking when they designed that?

I agree, and do not understand this obsession with looking at the front of motorbikes, you ain`t going to sleep with them are you?Vince wrote:Quite possibly best main & dip light on a motorcycle which actually works and lights up the road.
