After owning the Teutonic Tangerine (other wise Known as the Rubber Pig) for four years and 9 months and having added 48,880 miles to its clock I decided to have a change. Purchased on Saturday Delivered today 2005 R1200ST. Now Ill just have to wait until after my Holiday to ride it. For those who want to know. It has had 2 previous owners, it has done 16,257 miles, and has full service history. The tank bag is just about Brand new and unused (BMW System bag) and will need new tyres before Next spring. The inside of the rear mudguard / hugger is a clean as the day it left the factory (that'll change).

A bit like "buggery" Don`t knock it till you have tried it.
I'd agree - I had one as a loaner for a few hours from NOG. I really wanted to dislike it but just couldn't. It was even better once I'd put some air in the tyres and re-set the suspension (it'd been left on max preload, no damping).
Side view is great and after seeing Reg's in the flesh it grew on me and I do think they are great looking bikes - maybe something to do with the quirkiness that makes us like BMWs!

I'd have one as a winter bike except the prices are anything but down!
The front reminds of ........ something ........ is it a KTM?
Maybe just get some orange paint on it!
