I put most of the bike back together to keep weather and fingers out it's not in garage it's on street.

I have ordered one off ebay complete cam box when i get the old one off i will post some pics up

As i have said i should have known the torque wrench wasn't working but was tired, sunburnt, hurting, [ i have degenerative disc disorder] and not realy in the right frame of mind to do the job. Jobs that i used to be able to do in a couple of hours now sometimes take me all day

At least i will be checking up on my work from the last rebuild

Cheers dai

Did you manage to remove the broken end of the bolt from the camshaft?

Managed to get a complete cam box from ebay got it fitted yesterday afternoon along with the rocket sprockets [the only downside is running it in for a couple of hundred miles to settle the pushrods and rockers into their new home]

Took it out last night with Ann on the back for a test run she said she had never been more comfortable on it even tho it rained and we had no wet gear with us

It now runs far smoother i also did the throttle bodies with kits from Cata Dan

It will now pull from 2000revs in top smoothly

It was a disaster but it all turned good in the end
