Front Suspension Adjustment Ball-bearing :?:

Hi All

I'm looking for a bit of guidance - The front suspension adjustment on my R1100S doesn't have the click settings it's supposed to have, after a quick search on here I've discovered that the adjustment knob is supposed to have a ball-bearing and spring, but as you can see from this photo there is no ball bearing.



So I've 2 questions:

What size ball bearing do I need?

and

Does the spring in the photo look to be about right or will I need to replace it?

Kaze.. spring looks right and ball bearing should fit in the hole.
The bb can be lost when the cap is taken off and the bb shoots off..
