OMG. Too much soot in your tail pipe. Have a look at your air filter too and check your air box sump is not full of oilygloop Correct combustion is only acheivable with the right amount of oxygen. Are all zorst unions "tight" no sooty deposits elsewhere?

I think you need a Hygiene Plan

 What! what? :? I thort it (the plug) looked pretty good. It's not a very good pic . Now u got me worried. I'ts got a brand new airfilter. I drained the gunge out and I've bypassed the c/case breather to atmosphere with a long pipe down behind the g/box and running along the torque arm well clear of the tyre.

Well the two on the right look spot-on don't they?. But what's going on with red insulators on the two on the left? :?

I got my time lines mixed up.. red insulator is original (93k miles) tb's, glassfibre modded air intake, oe air filter and yellow ccp. Ones beside are low mileage tb's with k&n filter and yellow ccp.

latest photo is minus ccp , When I first got the bike and fitted a Y piece It wouldn't run properly without the ccp (with oe air filter).
I must refit the oe air filter just for comparison.

Was talking about this very thing in the garage the other day and boss said unleaded always leaves black soot on the exhaust and seems to run to clean to do a decent plug chop
My bike shines when it rains!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
