Greetings
I recently fitted an adjustable torque arm and have the length a little shorter than standard. This has obviously raised the height at the back to the extent that when fully loaded with heavy panniers the side stand is too short and doesn't support the bike. I've been lead to believe that the side stand on a BCR is 25mm longer. Is this right? I've tried Motorworks but they only have stands 26cm long, which appear to be standard. Has anybody else had this problem after fitting a shorter/adjustable torque arm and how did you resolve it.
Thanks, Dave

Dave, Did the same mod and I've been waiting for an SS stand for ages, I posted in sales section and never heard a thing,
Have been keeping an eye on fleaBay etc,
If you see one on there, make sure let me know so we don't bid against each other
I may fairly soon resort to welding an extension on the standard stand

I thought about getting one of these but they only add 1cm.

Might be tempting fate here as mine has the short arm and I have max ride height on the rear shock, but although I put a small piece of floorboard under the side stand when it's in the garage, I've never felt that it was going to fall over if it's parked on level ground. That said, no panniers or such like on mine.
