On the subject of 'Recalls' I think it would be fair to say that nowdays, manufacturers are so nervous of leaving themselves open to litigation claims that it seems they issue recalls at the slightest hint of a problem. Frothing Brake fluid anyone? Notwithstanding peter f's posts (all of which, I must say, appear to have been mangled by 'Google Translate' pre-submission.
he he? ) re: K1300s, I've never ever come across an assesment/report/test by an owner who is not
totaly enamoured by these (I include the K1200s here too) amazing sports bikes, recalls, updates, et al. And yes, I say 'sports' on account of the fact that the 'top whack' of both bikes, at 175mph (This, with a power draining shaft-drive!) is just 11mph down on the two (admittedly governed/limited) fastest sports rides on the block, the S1000rr and the CBR1000rr. Nor are these bikes just 'straight-away' wonders. I've seen examples that seem to have been relying on the manufacturers name on the side-wall for traction through the 'twisties'. Regarding customer satisfaction, Trixter owners of K1200/1300 bikes may have some input here? he he.

I got a recall for on my K1300s 2012 about two weeks ago for what seems to be the same problem as in the link above .

Interesting , do you mean it has an auto decompressor? I can't be sure from the video.
