that is definitely the big difference - how much more willing the bike is to get up to the rev-limiter. It does make you wonder about the OE air filter - maybe it's fine when it's clean & new, but as Winger says (and I found out too) it can clog up so quickly. Re. the 4000rpm flat spot - did you ever measure your cam timing - I have a theory...
'Hinterachsge' translates as 'rear axle'.(Not 'Differential', so f*** off)

I didn't for simple reason, 4000 is were the TUV emissions are done, most bikes have a blip around that mark, probably nowhere as noticable with a 150hp motor.
I used to use it as my personnel limiter and would change at 4 if i was pottering along, the PC got rid of it and it's pretty linear all the way to the redline with a bit more of a rush around 6.

I also use an unusal pipe setup i guess must have an effect, the plan this winter was to get another custom one made along the lines of the Arrow pipe 2-1-2,still waiting for some brave soul to try the Wunderlich offering.

Have ordered a K&N with the part no.s you advised. Will fit over xmas. Think Ill use black silicon sealant to glue to the airbox top.

Some how missed this but ....
