No come on chaps.....it's not big and it's not clever.
Oh....did I mention....my £200.00 Honda NTV that has a poorly engine(running low comp on both pots) does 244 miles/65 mpg before I have to go onto reserve.Costs £15.00 to fill up
On that merit,I have just purcahsed another NTV with a better engine and full luggage for the massive sum of £275.00.
How much you spent on your project Gus??
Bailey.

This thread is rapidly turning into one which would be found in the Bmw owners club mag. Surely we hav'nt sunk that low.

Actually I was thinking of a new thread - perhaps a poll - on facial adornments!
Maybe something like:
"Which is your favourite type of facial hair?:
1. Handlebar 'tache
2. P*rn-star 'tache
3. B#gger-grips
4. ZZ-top
Perhaps a little on the distasteful side for the owners' club?

I think we,ve been infiltrated by the BMWOC.Its that Oyster character who seems to be the culprit, aided and abetted by Bob.

Moderators, can you please check their credentials?Maybe house searches to look for bike/fuel consumption log books.I may be able to borrow you snapper and crusher(work collegues of mine)to help wean any info out of them.

I think I belong to the 120ish miles to warning light. Dug out a copy of which motorcycle? from '99 . It was a group test of vfr, st4 and R11s.
Fairly complimentary to the S but moaned about it feeling like the brakes were binding and fuel consumption worked out @25mpg or much less than 100miles per tank

As previously said, I get 118 ish miles normally to the light, however I went out today with some guys from West Yorks advanced riders and we did approx 320 miles.
I was gettting less than seven litres in for 80 miles! Approx 55 mpg, never done that well before

About 120 for fast A road riding, winding it on to the stop in 6th frequently.
I get about 170 of relaxed motorway riding (85mph...ish) - though this is the only time I benefit from the fuel filler mod, I don't fill it that full for normal use as it'll overflow when parked.
Following on from this I've run a full tank going very easy on the throttle on my normal short journeys and commutes and got 140 out of the tank.
40% more than normal is quite an increase, and it's not like I was sticking to the speed limit - I was just accelerating a fair bit slower.
