I'd definitely have the high level one in the second pic.
BTW, Roland Sands does a nice range of aftermarket parts for the R NINE T, all approved by BMW.

OK lads. sorry to be a party pooper but really, consider this, if you are going to put yourself in a racing crouch, buy a Duc. or a s1000rr That will put a zippy grin on inside that helmet. No hipster fist banging stuff going on there.

As a second bike just for a wee bimble on a weekend it is an indulgence even at a tempting price.

I think if we're being honest, most bikes are an indulgence.
Bikes are not an essential part of everyday life.
Some may use them as everyday transport, but I suspect most high end bikes are used in the very way you described.
Is there really anything wrong with having a nice bike purely to use for weekend enjoyment ?

They make superb looking pipes.
Would BMW frown on them from the point of view of warranty ?
Here they are fitted to a Guzzi Griso, looking rather splendid I think.
