A late reply - when I was in the PEMC, the Professional and Executive Motorcyclists Club (or bikers without tattoos!), there were said to be two type of biker: "Plonkers" or "Tossers". To explain, a plonker is a rider whom you overtake, and a tosser is a biker who overtakes you!

PEM , are they still going? shouldn't prejudge but sometimes a Club just asks for it .Did they all ride BMW Tourers and proudly display the Advanced Motorcyclist Institute badge ? Bet they also wore a Sam brown belt and gauntlets.nothing against AMI and getting training but it seems SO pretentious.better get my head down now...
