To answer the original question.... I don't think so.

Simon works for a company providing comms systems for first responders, as a project manager or something.

His wife is something hospital based if I remember correctly, Chris's wife is a GP and Chris works in medical diagnostics, as I do. Both are statin junkies so the conversation can turn that way sometimes.

It doesn't expalin his choice of riding suit though
