anyone know how long it takes to replace part #2

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do ... fg=15&hl=2

as there's a used on at Sherlocks for an R12RT and they're the same part.

It went like this once before and Williams reckoned it was the switch, which apparently isn't under warranty.

(same part on the 12S too Peter :) )

Steve, didn't you already get a switch replaced under warranty? Try remind them of that?

It's on 27000 miles now, I calculated that 10% of it's mileage has been taking it back and to for warranty work.

BMW GB once gave me a free years extended warranty and two hundred pounds credit at my dealership by way of compensation.

I am so glad Ive had the extended warranty as I roughly estimate there's about £7000 worth of parts and labour gone into it. Like triggers broom it's almost new now :)
 On a positive side at least the warranty is cast iron
