It's a fabulous place, that's for sure. Whilst Lakeland doesn't have the breath-taking drama of the Alps - or of course such places as the Himalayas etc - for me it has a beauty, a 'look' which is unmatched anywhere in the world.
Great place to spend time - food for mind and soul.
If you look closely, you'll see the pub...

Saw the old Humber parked on the way to a job a few years back and just had to turn around to get the photo. The flying bird was a bonus although I did see it and waited to get it in shot. iPhone 5
