You could try Simpson Motorsport , they do a lot of carbon repairs, albeit on cars - F40s and the like.

Their rates are reasonable, and they're close (ish) to you.

Assuming you've fully comp, do you have protected no claims? Over £1400 has got to be worth tapping up your insurer?

In 2003 the BMW price for the BCR bellypan was IIRC £1375!

And it was not as good quality or as well finished.

Thanks for the advice. However, I think I might have a result .
The Phase One Endurance Racing Team, based down in Bridgwater, Have offered to have a look at doing the repair for me when they return from the IOM.
They said that their fairing expert has had loads of practice fixing carbon fairings, on account of a Mr James Hayden doing a bit racing for them recently .
