I think the BMW indicator controls are great and far better than regular controls. I have been using them a long time and find regular controls very fiddly by comparison.

That would be far more logical as long as you can still switch directly from left to right indicator. I will do a search. Thanks. A

The item your looking for is a signal mister SM5, it is a replacement for the turn signal relay, simple unplug and replace. Allows you leave eveything as standard or to turn and cancel using the same switch. Also provides automatic cancelling after 8 sec or 40 sec and allows the use of the indicators as running lights, all programmable using the indicator switch on the bike.
They do cost a bit, but solve the problem if you can not get the hang of the standard setup.

just had a search for this as although i don't have a problem using the left and right buttons, my right thumb joint does ache at the end of a ride because of the cancel button's position, so being able to use the indicator button to cancel the indicators would be great.
