Trouble is I just took the Blackbird in for its MoT which it passed with not a single issue and simply drew 'in bloody good nick that bike' comments from the guys at Burwin's. As a result I still feel very attached to it.
It's just such a damn fine bike, and I'm normally a died-in-the-wool Honda-hater.
I've just spent all weekend toying with and training against a Hayabusa...with the express interest of "dealing" with certain people on Blackbirds come June.

Saying that, the 301 is probably going to go - the poor thing just doesn't get any use whatsoever and it's a crying shame to leave it standing in the garage.
You're probably right re the memories thing, but my 2nd 11R was bought on the strength of exactly that and on riding it away from the dealer I felt like I'd come home again.
