Pulled over by M6 j10 first week of January in the van to help a Fazer who'd run out of fuel. Bloody Wombles tried to tell me it was illegal to park on the hard shoulder unless I was broken down. Bring back the real Traffic Officers at least they had some common sense

Update:
Garage phoned me this morning, worse than it looked, and felt, they say the back wheels bent and the rear subframe, but still reckon that they will try to save it from being written off.
But the real funny thing is the clutch problem which reared its head on the way home from the crash, now to me it was definately a hydraulic issue, pumped the clutch lever a few times and it worked for a bit then went again.
The garage are now thinking its got the "Common R1100s Problem with the gearbox" which wont be accident related ( Ill have to pay), What common gearbox problem?
And it was fine until I got shunted so why not accident related?
I can feel a Shafting coming on.
