Before my conversion to the R11S I ran a black '92 TDM for 7 years / 45k from new. Great bike, 100% reliable, finish held up well and wish I'd kept it (to keep the S company in the garage) 
TREK looks like what the Tedium could / should have become if Yamaha had developed it with a sprinkling for R-dust (and stuck on an extra cylinder of course!)
