Ditto what jason said.Air bubbles will indeed carry shite up the hoseing to the master cylinder.If it is the gearbox seal it can be done in a day,with 2 of you.But paul,by your own admission you aint too good twirling the spanners.So i would get help from someone who knows whats what.Hope it is just the slave cylinder,
