Iv'e seen a thread on the UKGSer site where 2 units (don't know the make) were purchased from HIDs4u.co.uk for £180 the pair.
I am tempted myself.

As you say, not required I think but I had already wired the circuit in for some 100W bulbs I was trying anyway. I originally ran the HID using the stock connections but it kept flashing and eventually cut out completely. The connection to the headlamp was only reading about 5v on my meter - perhaps I was reading it wrong - dunno - but I told the bloke and he said to get 12v and use a relay and it's been working fine since (fingers crossed!)

I have just received a HID setup from

There are two bulbs at 5000K, one H7 and the other an H1 and of course the corresponding ballasts. The leads seem plenty long enough to stash the ballasts somewhere on the bike. They have been very helpful with all my enquiries and I will fit them when I get the chance, so far it looks very straight forward.

For the pair of lights and corresponding gubbins I was charged the princely sum of £204.99 Inc P&P which seems a pretty keen price especially as I got such a good vibe from the supplier

Have fitted the HID (main and dip) and in a word " BLINDING"

I can't believe the difference and now have 24 hour daylight on a switch.
