Cheers Phil
I'll no doubt get hassle for being IT clueless from Steve and the rest of the lads when I see then for a pie and pint on Thursday.

And I've already got a smart TV but I can't get it to connect to the World Wide Wait with it.
Dazed & confused
What you need mate is a pair of powerline adapters
http://uk.tp-link.com/products/list-18.html
You plug one into a mains socket near your router, and an ethernet lead from the router to the powerline adapter, then plug the other one in near your TV and an ethernet lead from your tv to the powerline adapter, this sends your broadband signal through your mains wiring, much faster and more stable than wifi. You can get them at Maplins for instance.
Also, Kodi is a way to find non subsciption broadcasts from around the world, you don't need your bt tv subscription to do this.
You can use a modified Amazon fire stick, or search ebay for an android box ( or a Kodi box), this does exactly the same job, but you usually get a remote/querty KB with them.

That's what I thought but I found out that they charge £15 a month for BT sport on top of broadband and as they can only give me piss poor broadband and still charge me the same as if I was getting 10 times the speed I cancelled it.
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity

Re: No Moto GP Highlights on ITV4
We are on BT broadband, bt sport included, no notification or demand regarding our bt sport channels? Normal service as per contract as we see it.
I would not pay a premium to watch it over what I am paying now.
Cos I am a miserable git
