So after much internet searching I eventually went for this solution

7mm thick and very easy to lay.

not the cheapest option but I'm happy with the result

My bike is in desperate need of a good clean TBH since I took advantage of the unfeasibly good weather three weeks ago and since it was dark when I got home all I did was hose off the worst of the muck :oops:

No mate no glue, just click together, and threshold is ramped using these
