You can tour just fine on the 12S.........I did a quick one week, 2500km tour of Washington and Oregon this summer.
No complaints here.

Umm...black bears and deer. Been to beautiful BC a couple of times staying Tofino, Ucluelet area, awesome roads but...

I don't really worry about the bears here......it's the police you have to worry about......and that's why I mainly ride in Oregon/Washington.

Very clean bike Dave, lovely.
Whilst it is the fastest colour, I'm just not the fastest rider
If you are thinking of joining us on the Welsh weekend next year, you may have to sleep with the bike to make sure all those shinny bits stay in place

Very nice and clean.
I recently spent 5 days riding round Wales on mine with 2 friends on GS's. You can guess whose bike got the most looks whenever we stopped
