were on legs 3 and 4 of Hannahs universities tour of Great Britian, Brighton a week ago, Nottingham tomorrow, York on Saturday, Goldsmiths London the week after...etc etc..
Start saving for France next year...not possible at the moment, all our monies going on diesel and butties!...

my pet hate removed, pillion pegs, bike looks so much nicer with them off, and seeing as the wife would rather throttle her self with her marigolds than jump on the back..job done..

Fair point Al, I will be using them should I tour etc..
Had its first service yesterday, so I can use it a bit more now..having had bigger bikes previously, I`am pleasantly surprised by the torque available at reasonable revs..(only allowed up to 8ooo rpm for a bit).
It may not have large figures on paper, but it delivers them well.
Two things not particularly impressed with, the more I look at it, the more I dislike the seat cowl, definitely an over styling exercise,( that will be off soon)
The number plate hanger, is just that, meaning that riding in the wet results in a wet back, a plume of spay following me to work this morning. I feel a sneaky mod coming on.
Other than that, its all smiles!...
