It was a stunning place Steve. The ride over from Bala was lovely, albeit slow and steady. Some great views. We stayed at that picnic spot for ages, because we knew once we got back on the bikes that was the end of our holiday.

Sorry to hijack your thread Marrell. You're not far from me. We should have a Midlands ride out with the others later in the summer.

I think your keyboard is broken Steve. The vowels are not working.
Ah but a "y" is a vowel in Welshire
First thought? Blimey, fancy laying that bad boy across a triple word score?

Welsh Place Name Scrabble - it's a high scoring affair...

Welcome marrell, fancy a trip to Wales and meet a lot of new people? see the days out bit.

To carry on with the hijack, sorry Marrell. Been to Vwrnwy myself, very nice place, parked up(in an empty carpark) in the motorhome, went to the lakeside for picnic and wine, came back to van and somebody had parked within 6 ft of us, the rest of carpark was empty :? Safety in numbers to fend off the celtic hordes maybe.

I thought all threads got hijacked, usually veering off via Silverstone, to Twickenham, then Wembley, maybe Wimbledon & mostly ending with the age old, "Valentino Rossi - Is he or isn't he?...... & for my money, he is :)
A ride out or two sounds good. Won't be able to do Wales weekend though :(

Yeah, that was the cause of my rethink ( which hasn't been fully rethunk yet) on past performance the sport bikes had no problem, but the "soft roaders had a little difficulty with the goat track
