they used to be available as a factory fit on 70's and 80's Kawasaki's and they were available from the aftermarket around the same time Nick but my understanding was that they were stopped after some incidents involving blind people walking into the path of traffic mistaking them for pelican crossings :?

Steve, I can only say that (so far) no blind people have been harmed during the fitting and testing of this gadget.

BTW, do Pelican Crossings still exist?

Well, that didn't go at all well. Whilst they sounded really loud in the shed, out on the road, above 10mph, and from under my new Shark 'flip-front' helmet they're inaudible. Bummer!

Looks like one of these (eBay item number:181234505337) may have to be the next step. Can anyone (with some knowledge of vehicle wiring systems?) see why I couldn't replace the OE unit with one?

Any constructive input will come as a pleasant surprise. :lol:
